Sorry for Party Rockin

It's been a while I know, but I am going to try to make some time to blog again :) Life has been moving at turbo speed the past year but summer is here and things are finally beginning to slow down.  My sister got married last weekend, my BABY (23 yr old) sister! sniff sniff.. My sister and her husband are super cool and fun and my kids love them both. I served as her Matron of Honor, thankfully she was NOT bridezilla and it was a lot of fun. Since this blog is a "Husband's Guide" I thought I would share some of the advice I gave them in my toast: 

The two secrets of a long lasting and happy marriage are a good sense of humor and a short memory!
Whenever you are wrong, admit it. Whenever you are right, be quiet.
Always remember...a happy wife, makes for a happy life!

Last, and in my opinion most importantly, is the advice my husband’s Grandmother Ruby gave me before our wedding.. She said, “Never give up your side of the bed!” May you look back on your wedding day as the day you loved each other the least. Take each day and cherish your time together. Love one another, laugh together and stand together.

 Now to the party. My kids are obsessed with LMFAO and had a blast at the reception. Check out the dancing! About 2.45 in to the video is the impromptu dance act to "Sexy and I Know It" My kids are really not shy!
